The Top 5 Guns for Concealed Carry (According to this guy)
There are a lot of different opinions when it comes to choosing which gun is the "best". I think that everyone should take the time and effort to choose the one that is perfect for them, not the one that is top of someone else's list. Your hand may fit better on a larger gun, or your preferred carry location may be better suited to a smaller 380.
With that being said, I came across this video about the top concealed carry guns:
When it comes to carrying concealed, you have a lot of options. My Top 5 list would definitely be a little different than the guy in the video, but I think he has a decent list.
Did your favorite gun make the list?
What do you carry everyday?
Let me know in the comments.
I am surprised the the S&W 9mm Shield did not make the list. I carry the performance model.
I carry a Colt Lightweight Comander, a Springfield XD mod 2, and a Glock 30 GEN4. My favorite is the Colt Lightweight Commander.
I have a Sig Sauer S&W 40 mm P229R. While I love the gun, it cannot be hidden. It is to large, as well as the Glock 19 which I also own. I’m 5ft 10 in tall and weigh 200lbs. The length is a little to big and the hand grip sticks out plain as day. I even wear a size to big tee shirt. My carry gun is the Walther pps m2. Perfect sized, great trigger, east to conceal.
Carry depends on clothing and weather. My main carry now is a sig P -238 in a cross draw kydex holster or in an ankle holster. Going to the Sig 938 soon. Would carry my 1911 in 45 act but it’s just too heavy. Due to most likely situations I am thinking I need more round capacity and may go to the Sig which was #1 or a Glock 19. So many situations and so many options and I carry several but none of mine made the top 5. I hate that my 44 special revolver didn’t make it! Hahahah. I can’t stand any double action only options even if light and hide well. That’s just me a 1911 battery of arms fan. Sig P238 and 938 feel like old friends to me. Carried a 1911 in Vietnam and will always have some of them.
Ruger American Compact or Fullsize along with an M&P Shield all in 9mm. For years my only handgun was a Ruger SR40 so once in awhile I’ll throw it on for old time sake. Recently found some Sigs I like but at this point I’m more comfortable carrying the Ruger line..familiarity.
