What style of holster should you buy? Holsters 101
When it comes to choosing a holster, there are so many options it can quickly become overwhelming. There are so many different thing to consider: IWB vs. OWB, leather vs. synthetic, off the shelf vs. custom made. The list goes on and on. Of course you have to also consider your gun model and type as well as your personal preference and style. just received my 3slot pancake holster, lefty by the way, and very impressed with the quality, and goes well with the gun belt that was my last purchase . both my glock 30 and my 17 fit the same holster. Have the defender leather holster fits the Springfield xd 9 9mms perfect the craftsmanship and quality of the leather is fantastic .
I have a Relentless holster that carries my S&W 642 beautifully (IWB). I can also carry the newer Kimber K6s with a 3" barrel in it, but just barely; if I push just a little, the very end of the barrel protrudes through the bottom. Any suggestions about another Relentless IWB holster that might accommodate the longer barrel of this Kimber better?
