The Top 5 Guns for Concealed Carry (According to this guy)

There are a lot of different opinions when it comes to choosing which gun is the "best". I think that everyone should take the time and effort to choose the one that is perfect for them, not the one that is top of someone else's list.  Your hand may fit better on a larger gun, or your preferred carry location may be better suited to a smaller 380.

With that being said, I came across this video about the top concealed carry guns:

When it comes to carrying concealed, you have a lot of options.  My Top 5 list would definitely be a little different than the guy in the video, but I think he has a decent list.

Did your favorite gun make the list?

What do you carry everyday?

Let me know in the comments.

  • No, didn’t make the list. But I really like my Sig Sauer P320c. It should be on the list. Very comfortable and reliable.

  • Nope, not on the list but I expected that, although the Sig 229 came close. My CC choice is the HK P2000 9mm, double stack mag (if you should need the extra rounds) no beaver tail and NO external safety to get in the way of a fast deployment of the weapon, like the DA/SA not a big fan of striker fired guns. Reason I didn’t expect it to be on the list is that HK’s tend to run on the upper end of the price list for mainstream CC guns and there are many other fine guns you can purchase at a great price, but what matters is that you carry a gun that you can handle well and put on target. Relentless Tactical has a suede leather IWB holster that is a perfect fit for the P2000.

  • I have been know to carry several different guns over the past 50 years but all have been S&W. I currently carry a S&W Performnce Center Pro Series 1911 9MM in various holster configurations. My backup gun is a S&W Chiefs Special J Frame 38 Mod 60 SS in a variety of different holsters My recent purchase of the Relentless Tactical IWB put the rest in the box. I change with the climate and have some options but I train with every singe one at least every other month.

  • Yep, number 3. M&p Shield 2.0 in 9mm.

  • I carry a 2" J frame S&W utilizing Relentless Tactical IWB suede or leather holsters depending on what I am wearing.
